Bud Camping
Norway has an extensive coastline with fjords, islands and living marine ecosystems, known for its dramatic landscape both above and below water.
The crystal-clear water at Bud creates ideal conditions for diving and offers visibility that can extend over impressive distances. Diving here provides an opportunity to explore submerged cliffs, kelp forests and vibrant marine life. Take the whole family on an exciting underwater adventure!
Facilities at Bud Camping
The campsite has good facilities for divers and equipment maintenance. The largest cabins have an external storage room with a drain in the floor for drying equipment. There is a shared drying room near the harbour, with the possibility to rinse equipment and hang it up to dry. This room is also locked with its own key. In the harbour there is fresh water for rinsing equipment, boats and for gutting fish.
The rental boats are spacious and have a bathing ladder. Filling up with petrol is offered at the neighbour Bud Småbåthavn. If a guided trip is desired, the boat «Randi» can be rented with a captain, and on request a local diving guide can also join. Bud centre is within walking distance, with shops, restaurants, petrol station and museum.

Hustadvika Havsportsenter
Would you like to try freediving? Hustadvika Havsportsenter has established in Bud and offers equipment rental and regular trips out for diving. Their base is a short walk from Bud Camping, and the location is an excellent starting point for a trip with the diving club. The sea sports centre has 10 complete rental packages in all sizes for rental with personal adaptation. In collaboration with Bud Diving Club, they go on freediving trips in the areas around Bud and can report a good atmosphere, good fishing, and a fantastic atmosphere.
Hustadvika Havsportsenter also sells equipment, so here you can get good advice on fitting and choosing equipment. They also plan for the possibility of filling air tanks here.
