Sea fishing in the areas of Molde, Hustadvika, Gossen, Midsund – yes, along the entire coast in Western Norway is exciting all year round. Here there are longer periods in the winter half of the year with clear and fine weather, which facilitates good days at sea and good conditions for sea fishing. Bud Camping has boats for hire available all year round, and boats can be booked easily on the website or by contacting the campsite.
Our boats have been selected especially with the rough weather we can have here at Hustadvika in mind. We have aluminum boats from Kvaernø with 80 or 100 hp and new Garmin sonar/GPS. The smaller boats are from Øien and have 30 hp, easy-to-drive boats that are stable in the water. To rent a boat in Norway, you must have a boat driving test or be born before 1980.
Bud Camping is registered as a tourist fishing company with the Directorate of Fisheries and can assist with documentation for customs to bring fish out of the country. Current rules at the time are 18 kg fillet per person registered in the document.

Bud Camping offers good facilities to our fishermen. In the harbor we have a slough bench with large sinks, plenty of bench space, cutting boards and fresh water. In our own freezer room, we have large freezer boxes for free use by guests, as well as a room with plenty of space to hang up wet clothes and outerwear.
