Atlanterhavsparken
In the main attraction, the Atlanterhavstanken, a saltwater tank measuring 36 x 17 metres, you can be impressed by and observe the large cold-water fish that live in the Atlantic Ocean.
The tank is illuminated by daylight as it has no roof, and the water is pumped up unfiltered from Breisundet. The water therefore contains a lot of new life in the form of living organisms and supplies nourishment to all life in the Atlantic tank.
Atlanterhavsparken facilitates a lot of activity, both outside with the otters and penguins, and inside on the edge of the pier where life under the sea can be observed up close. Here you can fish for crabs, and you can try to keep sea urchins and starfish.
In the park’s café, meals are served based on local produce, and here, of course, seafood is on the menu.
